The House Foreign Affairs Committee passed U.S. Congressman David N. Cicilline's (RI-01), Global Respect Act to impose sanctions on foreign individuals who are found responsible for human rights violations against lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) individuals abroad.
