WASHINGTON, June 20 -- Rep. Veronica Escobar, D-Texas, issued the following statement in recognition of World Refugee Day:
Congresswoman Escobar is a cosponsor of H.R. 3376, the Lady Liberty Act, a bill that supports U.S. refugee resettlement and sets the refugee admissions ceiling at a minimum of 110,000 refugees annually.
