CARMEN, Idaho, Sept. 5 -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers issued the following news release:
U. S. Army Corps of Engineers contractors plan to begin work Thursday, Sept. 6, to rehabilitate flood-damaged areas of the Carmen Levee System, located in Carmen, Idaho, on the Salmon River in Lemhi County.
The levee was damaged by sustained high flows during the 2017 flood season.
The Corps' Walla Walla District awarded a contract Aug. 27, 2018, to S.E.A. Construc . . .
