WASHINGTON, April 18 -- The U.S. Air Force issued the following news:

Wyoming Air National Guard base chosen for C-130H to C-130J upgrade
ARLINGTON, Va. (AFNS) --
The Department of the Air Force selected Wyoming Air National Guard Base in Cheyenne as the next location to host C-130Js.
A total of eight C-130J aircraft will be used to recapitalize the aging C-130H fleet, where older C-130H models will be fleet managed out of service and replaced by C-130H models from converting units.

Wyoming Guard Airmen make first antarctic cardiac evacuation in 35 years
MCMURDO STATION, Antarctica (AFNS) --
Using teamwork, precision and lifesaving expertise, Airmen of the Wyoming Air National Guard 's 187th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron played a critical role in the first successful evacuation of a patient in cardiac arrest from McMurdo Station, Antarctica, in more than 35 years.
