University of Tennessee to Repatriate Human Remains to Kaw and Pawnee Nations
WASHINGTON, April 18 (TNSFR) -- The University of Tennessee, Department of Anthropology (UTK), has completed an inventory of human remains and confirmed cultural affiliation with the Kaw Nation and the Pawnee Nation of Oklahoma. These remains, representing at least 16 individuals, were recovered from various archaeological sites in Clay and Geary counties, Kansas, and were likely transferred to UTK by William Bass in 1971.

University of Wisconsin Milwaukee to Repatriate Remains and Funerary Objects From Fond Du Lac County
WASHINGTON, April 18 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of the Interior National Park Service has announced that the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee (UWM) has completed an inventory of human remains and associated funerary objects in accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA).
