FCC Admonishes Walker River Paiute Tribe, Grants License Renewal With Compliance Plan
WASHINGTON, April 16 -- The Federal Communications Commission's Media Bureau has issued an order adopting a Consent Decree with the Walker River Paiute Tribe, licensee of five television translator stations in Schurz, Nevada. The decree resolves an investigation into the Tribe's failure to timely file license renewal applications and for operating the stations without authorization after their licenses expired.
