N.C. Gov. Cooper: Tobacco Manufacturer Selects Caswell County for New Production, Distribution Facility
RALEIGH, North Carolina, Dec. 17 -- Gov. Roy Cooper, D-North Carolina, issued the following news release on Dec. 16, 2024:
Governor Roy Cooper announced that Cherokee Tobacco Company will create 39 new jobs and invest more than $14 million to build a new manufacturing and distribution operation in Caswell County.

Stockbridge, Ga. (December 16, 2024) - Thomas Dellavalle was gathering his family to leave town ahead of Hurricane Milton. When he took an awkward lunge to remove his dog from a scuffle, he knew something was wrong immediately.
