Utah Gov. Spencer Cox Appoints Judge Ryan Evershed to Second District Juvenile Court
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Oct. 27 -- Gov. Spencer J. Cox, R-Utah, issued the following news release on Oct. 25, 2024:
Utah Gov. Spencer J. Cox has appointed Judge Ryan Evershed to the Second District Juvenile Court, filling a vacancy created by Judge Sipes' retirement. Judicial appointments are subject to confirmation by the Utah Senate.

Wyo. Gov. Gordon: Wyoming Joins Idaho, Alaska in Support of Utah's Federal Public Lands Claim
CHEYENNE, Wyoming, Oct. 27 -- Gov. Mark Gordon, R-Wyoming, issued the following news release on Oct. 25, 2024:
Governor Mark Gordon has announced that the State of Wyoming has filed an amicus brief in support of Utah on their federal public lands claims pending before the US Supreme Court. Wyoming joined with the states of Idaho and Alaska, as well as the Arizona Legislature in the Amicus.
