KANSAS CITY, Kansas, Oct. 17 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Kansas issued the following news release:
A Missouri woman pleaded guilty to charges related to criminal conduct connected to a federal government program intended to help small business owners during the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to court documents, Venester Fayne, 57, of Kansas City, Missouri, pleaded guilty to one count of wire fraud and one count of money laundering.
