SANTA FE, New Mexico, Oct. 5 -- New Mexico Attorney General Raul Torrez issued the following news release on Oct. 4, 2024:
Albuquerque, NM - Today, New Mexico Attorney General Raul Torrez announced his victim protection legislation for the 2025 general session. New Mexico law establishes protections for victims, but these laws have no enforcement mechanism to make sure the protections are followed.
