CDC Confirms New Human Cases of H5 Bird Flu in California
WASHINGTON, Oct. 4 -- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued the following news release on Oct. 3, 2024:
CDC has confirmed two human cases of H5 bird flu from specimens submitted by California. The cases occurred in people with occupational exposure to infected dairy cows.
