WASHINGTON, Sept. 28 (TNSres) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce's Bureau of Economic Analysis issued the following news release on Sept. 27, 2024:
Real gross domestic product increased in 49 states and the District of Columbia in the second quarter of 2024, with the percent change ranging from 5.9 percent at an annual rate in Idaho to -1.1 percent in Alaska, according to statistics released today by the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis (table 1).

N.D. Gov. Burgum: Kendall Bergrud of Bismarck's Wachter Middle School Named 2025 North Dakota Teacher of the Year
BISMARCK, North Dakota, Sept. 28 -- Gov. Doug Burgum, R-North Dakota, issued the following news on Sept. 27, 2024:
Kendall Bergrud, a mathematics teacher at Wachter Middle School in Bismarck, is North Dakota's Teacher of the Year for 2025, state School Superintendent Kirsten Baesler and Gov. Doug Burgum said in a joint announcement Friday.
It is the second straight year that a Wachter educator has been awarded North Dakota's top teaching honor. In January, Bergrud will succeed Sheila Peterson,
