BernCo Board of County Commissioners Accepts Grant for Firefighter/EMT Positions
ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico, Sept. 26 -- Bernalillo County issued the following news release on Sept. 25, 2024:
On Tuesday, the BernCo Board of County Commissioners voted to accept a $262,000 grant from the New Mexico Department of Finance and Administration on behalf of Bernalillo County Fire Rescue for the hiring of two firefighter/EMT positions.

NMSU Collaboration Provides Greater Accessibility for Blind, Low-Vision Students
LAS CRUCES, New Mexico, Sept. 26 -- New Mexico State University issued the following news release:
New Mexico State University's Disability Access Services has teamed up with Aira, an on-demand remote visual interpretation service for the blind and low-vision community, and T-Mobile Accessibility, to offer more accessibility through a free app now available and active at all NMSU campuses across the state.
