ALEXANDRIA, Virginia, Sept. 24 -- The U.S. Department of Defense's Education Activity issued the following news release:
The U.S. Department of Education recognized 356 schools as National Blue Ribbon Schools for 2024. The recognition is based on a school's overall academic performance or progress in closing achievement gaps among student subgroups.

W.Va. U.S. Attorney: Ohio Man Sentenced to Prison for Federal Drug Crime
HUNTINGTON, West Virginia, Sept. 24 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of West Virginia issued the following news release on Sept. 23, 2024:
