Campaign Legal Center: Voting Rights Groups Defend Alabamians Against Illegal Voter Roll Purge
WASHINGTON, Sept. 14 -- The Campaign Legal Center issued the following news release on Sept. 13, 2024:
Today, Campaign Legal Center, Fair Elections Center, and Southern Poverty Law Center filed a lawsuit on behalf of four individual Alabamians who have been unfairly targeted by the state's illegal voter purge as well as the Alabama Coalition for Immigrant Justice, the Alabama State Conference of the NAACP, and the League of Women Voters of Alabama.
