Gov. Justice Celebrates Another Year of Record-Breaking Growth in the Tourism Industry
CHARLESTON, West Virginia, Sept. 12 -- Gov. Jim Justice, R-West Virginia, issued the following news release on Sept. 11, 2024:
Gov. Jim Justice today announced West Virginia's tourism performance for 2023, with the industry's total economic impact approaching $9 billion last year. Visitor volume to the state reached 75 million visitors last year.
These visitors spent $6.3 billion in the state, 5.6% more than in 2022. These levels of visitation and spending are both above 2019 levels, demonstra

Marshall Health ALS, Gastroenterology Clinics Relocate to Shell Outpatient Medical Pavilion
HUNTINGTON, West Virginia, Sept. 12 -- Marshall University issued the following news release:
The Marshall University ALS Clinic and Marshall Health's gastroenterology and hepatology services are now located in the new Robert and Lena Shell Outpatient Medical Pavilion at Cabell Huntington Hospital, a member of Marshall Health Network. The ALS Clinic is housed on the building's fourth floor with Marshall Neurology, and gastroenterology and hepatology services are located on the second floor.
