Young, Braun Introduce Bill to Protect American Farmland From Foreign Adversaries
WASHINGTON, Sept. 10 -- Sen. Todd Young, R-Indiana, issued the following news release:
Today, U.S. Senator Todd Young (R-Ind.) joined U.S. Senator Mike Braun (R-Ind.) in introducing the Protecting American Agriculture from Foreign Adversaries Act of 2024 to add another layer of scrutiny to foreign acquisitions of U.S. farmland and agricultural industries, specifically monitoring purchases made by adversaries like China, North Korea, Russia, and Iran.
