WASHINGTON, Sept. 7 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia issued the following news release on Sept. 6, 2024: A North Carolina man was sentenced to prison today after he previously pleaded guilty to a felony charge related to his conduct during the Jan. 6, 2021, breach of the U.S. Capitol.
