Corps of Cadets alumna Lt. Hanna Kobayashi named Vanderbilt game Hokie Hero
BLACKSBURG, Virginia, Aug. 31 -- Virginia Tech issued the following news:
U.S. Navy Lt. Hanna Kobayashi, a 2019 Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets alumna who earned a degree in human development from the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences, was selected as the Hokie Hero for Saturday's football game against Vanderbilt.

Religious Historian to Discuss American Christianity at Bridgewater College
BRIDGEWATER, Virginia, Aug. 31 -- Bridgewater College issued the following news release:
Dr. David Hollinger, a historian specializing in American intellectual and religious history, will present an endowed lecture at Bridgewater College on Thursday, Sept. 12, at 7:30 p.m. in Cole Hall.
