OSMRE Seeks Input on Spring Creek Mine Federal Mining Plan Modification
WASHINGTON, Aug. 31 -- The U.S. Department of the Interior's Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement issued the following news release:
The Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement is inviting public comment on the Spring Creek Mine Federal Mining Plan Modification Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). The 45-day public comment period will open when the draft EIS is published in the Federal Register.

Texas A.G. Paxton Announces 30-State Settlement to End Interstate Unclaimed Property Litigation
AUSTIN, Texas, Aug. 31 -- Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton issued the following news release:
Texas, along with a bipartisan coalition of 29 other states, has reached a settlement ending the outstanding damages phase of an unclaimed property dispute before the U.S. Supreme Court. Texas and the other states will take possession of more than $190 million in unclaimed property.
