NEWARK, New Jersey, Aug. 29 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey issued the following news release on Aug. 28, 2024:
A Missouri man was arrested for an attempted data extortion campaign targeting his former employer, a U.S.-based industrial company with its headquarters located in Somerset County, New Jersey, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger announced today.
