Strengthening the mission: Congressional staff, Oklahoma delegates visit the 'Mighty 97th'
RANDOLPH AFB, Texas, Aug. 27 -- The U.S. Air Force Air Education and Training Command issued the following news:
Several U.S. Congressional staff delegates, Oklahoma Senator Brent Howard, and Oklahoma Representative Gerrid Kendrix, visited Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma, Aug. 21, 2024, to see the base's training mission first-hand and to discuss installation infrastructure.
Upon arrival, the team received a mission brief from Col. Jeff Marshall, 97th Air Mobility Wing commander, and Chief Mast
