CAP Cadets Experience a Day in the Life at Altus AFB
RANDOLPH AFB, Texas, Aug. 19 -- The U.S. Air Force Air Education and Training Command issued the following news:
Four cadets from the Altus Chapter of the Civil Air Patrol were immersed into the 97th Air Mobility Wing mission by touring the installation at Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma, Aug. 12, 2024.

Mo. U.S. Attorney: Nevada, Mo., Man Sentenced to 20 Years for Leading Meth Conspiracy
SPRINGFIELD, Missouri, Aug. 24 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Missouri issued the following news release on Aug. 23, 2024:
A Nevada, Mo., man was sentenced in federal court today for leading a conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.
Trenton D. Wallace, 28, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Roseann A. Ketchmark to 20 years in federal prison without parole.
