WASHINGTON, Aug. 23 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security Federal Emergency Management Agency issued the following news release: FRANKFORT, Ky. Kentucky farmers and ranch hands whose tools or equipment were damaged by the May 21-27 severe storms, straight-line winds, tornadoes, landslides and mudslides may be eligible for disaster assistance.
