Bernalillo County Announces New County Manager Contract Completion
ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico, Aug. 21 -- Bernalillo County issued the following news release on Aug. 20, 2024:
Bernalillo County is pleased to announce the successful negotiation and finalization of a contract with Cindy Chavez to serve as the county's next county manager. The contract will go before the Board of County Commissioners for final consideration at its Aug. 27, 2024, administrative meeting. Notice is hereby given that the Civilian Police Oversight Advisory Board (CPOAB) will hold a Public Hearing on September 12, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. during their regular monthly CPOAB meeting in the Vincent E. Griego Chambers, basement level of the City of Albuquerque Government Center, at One Civic Plaza NW, Albuquerque, NM 87102.
