Iowa U.S. Attorney: Armed Fentanyl Dealer Sentenced to Federal Prison
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa, Aug. 15 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Iowa issued the following news release:
A man caught exchanging gun fire with another vehicle and in possession of fentanyl was sentenced July 31, 2024, to 10 years in federal prison.
Macarr Hill, age 28, from Minneapolis, received the prison term after a March 27, 2024, guilty plea to possessing with intent to distribute fentanyl.

Iowa U.S. Attorney: Woman Who Sold Methamphetamine to Undercover Agent Sentenced to Over 13 Years in Federal Prison
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa, Aug. 15 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Iowa issued the following news release on Aug. 14, 2024:
A woman who sold methamphetamine to an undercover agent was sentenced today to 160 months in federal prison for her involvement in a conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.
Heather Sue Hartzell, age 32, from Waverly, Iowa, received the prison term after a December 21, 2023 guilty plea to one count of conspiracy to distribute a controlled substan
