2024 Delbert Ray Fulkerson Prize Awarded
PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island, July 24 (TNSres) -- The American Mathematical Society issued the following news release:
Three groups of mathematicians received the 2024 Delbert Ray Fulkerson Prize, which recognizes outstanding papers in discrete mathematics. The prizes are awarded jointly by the American Mathematical Society (AMS) and the Mathematical Optimization Society (MOS) and were presented on July 22 at the 25th International Symposium on Mathematical Programming, held in Montreal.

Though Inventory Grows, R.I.'s Median Home Price Continues to Rise

Despite a 32% increase in the number of single-family homes on the market since June of last year, the median price of Rhode Island homes sold last month continued to rise, hitting a new high of $494,000.
