Manning Announces $26.8 Million for Clean-Energy Transit in Greensboro and Winston-Salem
WASHINGTON, July 9 -- Rep. Kathy Manning, D-North Carolina, issued the following news release:
Today, Congresswoman Kathy Manning (NC-06) announced $26.8 million in federal funding for the Greensboro Transit Agency and Winston-Salem Transit Authority to purchase new electric and hybrid buses. The funding was authorized through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, which Congresswoman Manning voted to pass in the 117th Congress.
