Gov. Justice Appoints Todd Kirby as Circuit Judge of the Tenth Judicial Circuit Court Serving Raleigh County
CHARLESTON, West Virginia, July 3 -- Gov. Jim Justice, R-West Virginia, issued the following news release on July 2, 2024:
Gov. Jim Justice announced today that he has appointed Todd Kirby to the Tenth Judicial Circuit Court serving Raleigh County. He fills the seat vacated by Judge Robert Burnside's retirement.
Kirby received degrees in Political Science and International Studies from Marshall University.
He graduated with his Juris Doctorate from Liberty University School of Law in Lynchbur

W.Va. U.S. Attorney: Michigan Man Pleads Guilty to Fentanyl Crime
BECKLEY, West Virginia, July 2 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of West Virginia issued the following news release:
Mannie Lamar Terry, also known as "Primo" and "J," 37, of Ypsilanti, Michigan, pleaded guilty today to distribution of fentanyl.
According to court documents and statements made in court, on February 27, 2023, Terry sold approximately 4.5 grams of fentanyl for $300 to a confidential informant in Beckley. Terry admitted to that transaction and to sellin
