SPRINGFIELD, Illinois, June 29 (TNSres) -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Statistics Service - Illinois Field Office issued the following news release: Corn stocks in all positions on June 1, 2024 totaled 875 million bushels, up 44 percent from June 1, 2023. SPRINGFIELD, Illinois, June 29 (TNSres) -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Statistics Service - Illinois Field Office issued the following news release: Corn: Planted area, at 10.9 million acres, is down 3 percent from 2023. Harvested area for grain, at 10.75 million acres, is down 3 percent from last year. Soybeans: Planted area, at 10.7 million acres, is up 3 percent from 2023. COLUMBIA, Missouri, June 29 (TNSres) -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Statistics Service - Missouri Field Office issued the following news release: Corn stocks in all positions on June 1, 2024 totaled 191 million bushels, up 40 percent from June 1, 2023.
