Florida's Gross Domestic Product Growth Rate Doubles the National Rate Over the Last Five Years
TALLAHASSEE, Florida, June 23 -- Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Florida, issued the following news release on June 21, 2024:
Today, Governor DeSantis announced that Florida's real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) grew by 21.9 percent from the first quarter of 2019 to the first quarter of 2024, nearly double the national growth rate of 11.1 percent during the same period.
