American Library Association President Emily Drabinski to Embark on Cross Country Library Tour
CHICAGO, Illinois, May 31 -- The American Library Association issued the following news release:
American Library Association President Emily Drabinski will tour the country this June to highlight the contributions of American libraries to their communities.
The "Road to Annual" tour, named for ALA's Annual Conference, will kick off in early June at Cranston Public Library in Rhode Island where Drabinski will highlight the importance of federal support for libraries and the Right to Read Act.
