WASHINGTON, May 31 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency issued the following news release: FEMA announced that federal disaster assistance is available to the state of Arkansas to supplement recovery efforts in the areas affected by severe storms, straight-line winds, tornadoes and flooding from May 24-27, 2024. The President's action makes federal funding available to affected individuals in Benton, Boone and Marion counties. Assistance can include  more
