Maine Gov. Mills Announces 16 Percent Decline in Fatal Drug Overdoses in Maine in 2023, Among Nation's Largest
AUGUSTA, Maine, May 17 (TNSres) -- Gov. Janet Mills, D-Maine, issued the following news on May 15, 2024:
Governor Janet Mills today announced that Maine experienced one of the nation's largest percentage decreases in fatal overdoses in 2023, according to a preliminary statistical analysis released by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention this morning (https://blogs.cdc.gov/nchs/2024/05/15/7623/).
