Sul Ross State University Hires Milton Crotts, Ph.D as New Director of Bands
ALPINE, Texas, April 24 -- Sul Ross State University issued the following news:
Sul Ross State University hired Dr. Milton Crotts, a native of North Carolina, as a new associate professor of music and the director of bands. He begins work on the Alpine campus next fall.
Crotts holds both his bachelor's and master's degrees in Music Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and a doctorate in Musical Arts in instrumental conducting from the University of South Carolina at C

UNC Asheville Hosts Holocaust Remembrance Day -- YomHaShoah
ASHEVILLE, North Carolina, April 24 -- The University of North Carolina-Asheville issued the following news:
A community remembrance of the Holocaust will be hosted at UNC Asheville on May 5 at 3 p.m. in the Blue Ridge Room of the Highsmith Student Union. The event is free and open to the public.
The event will feature keynote speaker Michele Taylor, a U.S. Permanent Representative to the United Nations Human Rights Council, who will speak on "Living the Legacy of the Holocaust."
