Sen. Tillis Introduces Bill on Inclusion of Phosphate, Potash as Critical Minerals
WASHINGTON, April 15 -- Sen. Thom Tillis, R-N.C., introduced legislation on March 14, 2024. The text of the bill was released on April 13.
S. 3956. A bill to include phosphate and potash on the final list of critical minerals of the Department of the Interior; to the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources.
The bill is cosponsored by Sens. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, Roger Marshall, R-Kan., Pete Ricketts, R-Neb., Rick Scott, R-Fla., and Tammy Baldwin, D-Wis.
