Sen. Markey Introduces Bill to Require President to Set Minimum Annual Goal for Refugees to Be Admitted
WASHINGTON, Feb. 18 -- Sen. Edward J. Markey, D-Mass., introduced legislation on Jan. 31, 2024. The text of the bill was released on Feb. 16.
S. 3714. A bill to amend the Immigration and Nationality Act to require the President to set a minimum annual goal for the number of refugees to be admitted, and for other purposes; to the Committee on the Judiciary.
