Federal Court Sides With Attorney General Liz Murrill to De-List Louisiana Black Bear From Endangered Species List
BATON ROUGE, Louisiana, Feb. 1 -- Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill issued the following news on Jan. 30, 2024:
A Federal District Court dismissed a suit challenging the de-listing of the Louisiana Black Bear from the endangered species list.
Louisiana intervened and defended the de-listing.
Yesterday, Judge Brian Jackson granted summary judgment in favor of the state.
