TSA: Expect Higher Passenger Volume for Thanksgiving Out of Maine Airports
PORTLAND, Maine, Nov. 22 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Transportation Security Administration issued the following news release:
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) at Portland International Jetport (PWM) and Bangor International (BGR) will see travel volume increase this week and the TSA team in Maine has been proactively preparing for the increase.
Holiday travelers flying out of PWM and BGR should expect the weekend after Thanksgiving to be the busiest portion

BANGOR, Maine, Nov. 21 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Maine issued the following news release:
A former Bangor man was sentenced today in U.S. District Court in Bangor for his role in a conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine and fentanyl.
U.S. District Judge Lance E. Walker sentenced Christopher Coty, 43, to 48 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release.

U.S. Attorney for the District of Maine: New York Men Convicted of Violent Attempted Theft of Drugs From Rangeley Home
BANGOR, Maine, Nov. 21 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Maine issued the following news release:
Two New York men were found guilty today of conspiring to commit Hobbs Act robbery in connection with a violent home invasion in Rangeley in 2016. The verdict came after a three-day jury trial in the U.S. District Court in Bangor with Judge Nancy Torresen presiding.
