WASHINGTON, Sept. 15 -- Rep. Dusty Johnson, R-S.D., introduced the "Teenagers Earning Everyday Necessary Skills Act" on Aug. 25, 2023. The text of the bill was released on Sept. 13. H.R. 5274. A bill to amend the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 to expand working hours for employees between the ages of 14 and 16 years during periods in which schools are in session, and for other purposes; to the Committee on Education and the Workforce.
