WASHINGTON, June 17 -- Sen. Mark Warner, D-Virginia, issued the following news release on June 16, 2023: Today, U.S. Sens. Mark R. Warner and Tim Kaine announced $4,285,652 in federal funding to make infrastructure improvements at airports across Virginia. The funding was awarded by the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) FY 2023 Airport Improvement Program (AIP), which funds airport infrastructure projects such as runways, taxiways, airport signage, airport lighting, and airport markings.   more
