Warner & Kaine Announce Over $4.2 Million in Federal Funding to Improve Airports Across Virginia
WASHINGTON, June 14 -- Sen. Tim Kaine, D-Virginia, issued the following news release:
Today, U.S. Senators Mark R. Warner and Tim Kaine announced $4,285,652 in federal funding to make infrastructure improvements at airports across Virginia. The funding was awarded by the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) FY 2023 Airport Improvement Program (AIP), which funds airport infrastructure projects such as runways, taxiways, airport signage, airport lighting, and airport markings.
