WASHINGTON, May 26 -- The U.S. Department of Defense issued the following news release on May 25, 2023:
The Department of Defense announced today the death of an Airman who was supporting Operation Inherent Resolve.
Major Stephen Khou, 36, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, died May 24, 2023, in a non-combat related incident at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait.
The incident is under investigation.
He was assigned to the 32nd Weapons Squadron, Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada.
