The bill was introduced on Dec. 15 and has seven co-sponsors. Co-sponsors include Sens. Edward J. Markey, D-Mass., Christopher S. Murphy, D-Conn., Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., Tina Smith, D-Minn., Brian Schatz, D-Hawaii, and Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass.
