WASHINGTON, Dec. 10 -- Rep. Andrew S. Clyde, R-Ga., has introduced legislation (H.R. 9448) to "prohibit the Federal Government from taking certain action relating to social media companies."
The bill was introduced on Dec. 7 and has 10 co-sponsors. Co-sponsors include Reps. James Comer, R-Ky., Madison Cawthorn, R-N.C., Randy Weber, R-Texas, Mary E. Sen. Huizenga Introduces Bill to Amend Securities Act of 1933
WASHINGTON, Dec. 7 -- Sen. Bill Huizenga, R-Mich., has introduced legislation (H.R. 9408) to "amend the Securities Act of 1933 to require that information required to be disclosed to the Securities and Exchange Commission by issuers be material to investors of those issuers."
The bill was introduced on Dec. 1 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Andy Barr, R-Ky. It was referred to the Senate Financial Services Committee.
