Rep. Pingree Introduces Bill on Ocean Acidification Vulnerability Assessments
WASHINGTON, Nov. 21 -- Rep. Chellie Pingree, D-Maine, has introduced legislation (H.R. 9346) to "amend the Federal Ocean Acidification Research And Monitoring Act of 2009 to require the Secretary of Commerce, acting through the Administrator of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, to collaborate with State and local governments and Indian Tribes on vulnerability assessments related to ocean acidification, research planning, and similar activities."

Sen. Carper Introduces Bill on Appropriate Supervision Requirements for Outpatient Physical Therapy
WASHINGTON, Nov. 21 -- Sen. Thomas R. Carper, D-Del., has introduced legislation (S. 5) to "amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to ensure appropriate supervision requirements for outpatient physical therapy and outpatient occupational therapy."
The bill was introduced on Nov. 17 and was co-sponsored by Sen. John Barrasso, R-Wyo. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.

Sen. Coons Introduces Bill to Establish U.S. Foundation for International Conservation
WASHINGTON, Nov. 22 -- Sen. Christopher Coons, D-Del., has introduced legislation (S. 5134) to "establish the U.S. Foundation for International Conservation to promote long-term management of protected and conserved areas."
