COLUMBIA, Missouri, June 25 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Statistics Service - Missouri Field Office issued the following news release:
Missouri inventory of all hogs and pigs on June 1, 2021 was 3.40 million head, down 3 percent from March 1, 2021 and down 11 percent from last year. WASHINGTON, June 25 -- The U.S. Department of Commerce's Economic Development Administration issued the following news release on June 24, 2021:
U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina M. Raimondo announced that the Department's Economic Development Administration (EDA) is awarding a $3 million grant to the city of Branson, Missouri, to construct a floodwall needed to protect infrastructure vital to the business community from flooding. The EDA grant will be matched with $6.6 million in state funds.
