WASHINGTON, Aug. 19 -- Rep. Morgan Griffith, R-Virginia, issued the following news release:
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has awarded Virginia Tech a $239,758 grant for aging research related to Alzheimer's Disease. This brain disorder destroys memory and cognitive function. U.S. Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement:
"Alzheimer's Disease is a devastating illness for patients and their families with no known cure . . .
