SPRINGFIELD, Illinois, May 2 -- The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation issued the following news release:
On Friday, April 21, 2023, the United States Supreme Court stayed the Texas court ruling which had stayed the 2000 FDA approval of Mifepristone pending litigation on the merits. The U.S. Supreme Court ruling means that Mifepristone remains a legal reproductive healthcare option for women in Illinois, as well as across the nation.
