WASHINGTON, April 6 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Marketing Service issued the following news release on April 5, 2023:
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) today announced $7.6 million in funding available through the Micro-Grants for Food Security Program (MGFSP) to increase the quantity and quality of locally grown food through small-scale gardening, herding, and livestock operations in food insecure communities in Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories. . . .
